Rich Johnston reviews a September '04 draft of the V for Vendetta ScriptThe review doesn't hold any real surprises for anyone who has been following the drips and drabs of information regarding the script. And though Rich obviously favors the comic, he freely admits his biases and manages a level-headed, if largely negative, review; thus he should be spared any
venomous retaliations from J.M. Straczynski. His biggest critique is that the script lacks any sense of subtlety. However, fans of the comic will be pleased to note that several highlights from the comic--V's controntations with Lilliman and Surridge, and of course Valerie's Letter--remain intact.
