V for Vendetta panel at the San Diego Comic-Con

I just read that there was a panel held today at the 2005 San Diego Comic-Con featuring Natalie Portman, Joel Silver, and David Lloyd. The news was posted on the V for Vendetta movie website, but was also listed on the ComicCon's online schedule of events. This doesn't appear to be a surprise panel (NataliePortman.com seems to have known about it for a while), so either none of you like me anymore or the normal gang of anarchists that feed me news info didn't know about this either. (Yes I realize I'm setting myself up with that comment, but it's late and I'm punchy.)

Fortunately, SuperHero Hype has not failed me. The site has both a link to the full audio to the panel at the Comic-Con and they also have a description of the teaser trailer that premiered during the panel.

Speaking of the movie's website; the site has posted a 30-second audio clip from James McTiegue mentioning he is currently editing "the Larkhill sequence" and that "hopefully we'll make our deadline". this last comment seems to indicate that the movie will keep it's Nov 6 opening, contrary to what Lying in the Gutters reported earlier this week. You can hear the audio file in the News section.

All those with first-hand pictures, video, transcripts and bodies from the V for Vendetta panel at the Comic-Con are heartily encouraged to e-mail them to me at vendetta@shadowgalaxy.net.
